Shaolin Kungfu Master Shi Xingjun of orthodox Shaolin temple linage
Shi Xingjun, original name Chen Junkai, was born in Yanling, Henan Province in 1974. He is the 32nd-generation direct disciple of Songshan Shaolin Temple, the 32nd-generation orthodox inheritor of Shaolin Yijin Xisui Cultivation Method(Shaolin Muscle-Tendon Changing and Marrow Cleansing Classic), and holds the 6th Dan of Chinese Wushu.
I. Inheritance and Cultivation Experience
•1989: Admitted to Songshan Shaolin Temple Wushu Academy for systematic martial arts training.
•1990: Formally converted to Shaolin Temple and apprenticed under Master Shi Deyang, Chief Coach of Warrior Monks. He was given the Dharma name “Xingjun” and devoted himself to Zen practice and martial arts cultivation.
•1992: Served as personal attendant to Elder Shi Suxi, receiving personal instruction and spiritual guidance from the great virtuous monk.
•1993: Specialized in the core arts of Shaolin Zen, Shaolin Kungfu and Medicine — including Shaolin Yijin Jing (Tendon-Marrow Changing Classic), Baduanjin (Eight-Section Brocade), Acupuncture and Tuina Massage — under Master Shi Deqian, and obtained the authentic inheritance.
II. Competition Honors and Attainments
He has profound attainments in traditional Shaolin Kungfu boxing, long and short Shaolin Kungfu weapons, and paired combat. He also has profound scholarly accomplishment in Shaolin Zen-martial-medical culture, Zen philosophy, and health preservation techniques.
•1991–1992: Won the Outstanding Award for Shaolin Boxing at the Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival.
•1994: Claimed the Gold Medal in the Youth Group at the National Wushu Hometown Competition in Cangzhou, Hebei Province.
He participated in the 1st to 8th sessions of the Zhengzhou International Shaolin Wushu Festival and has won numerous awards in provincial, municipal and national martial arts competitions.
III. Overseas Exchange and Cultural Dissemination
Since 1995, he has represented the Shaolin Temple Warrior Monks Troupe on visits to Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Japan, Canada, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Malaysia, Germany, France, Vatican, Norway, Sweden and other countries and regions. He has conducted Shaolin Kungfu performances and teaching activities, promoting the internationalization of Shaolin culture.

He has cultivated more than 700 overseas disciples and made outstanding contributions to the inheritance of Shaolin culture and Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.
Now he mainly cultivates and teaches at our Deyuan Cave Centre.
