1. Basic Overview of the Study Tour
Participants: 25-person Russian study team
Duration: 14 days
Venues: Shaolin Temple, Yongtai Temple, Songshan Scenic Area (Sanhuangzhai, Fuxi Mountain, Fawang Temple and other scenic spots)

Study Tour Purpose: Cultivate physique through Shaolin Kungfu, calm the mind through Zen, and integrate culture and travel. The program enables participants to systematically learn traditional Shaolin Kungfu skills and deeply experience the Zen-Shaolin Kungfu culture and natural and humanistic heritage of Songshan Shaolin.

2. Detailed 14-Day Study Tour Schedule
Day 1 Opening & Adaptation – Initial Understanding of Shaolin Zen and Kungfu
Morning: Team arrival in Dengfeng, check-in at the study tour base, goods arrangement, opening ceremony, introduction of study tour rules, Shaolin Kungfu etiquette and course arrangement, and Sino-Russian teacher-student ice-breaking communication.
Afternoon: Visit the core scenic area of Shaolin Temple, including temple halls and pagoda forest, learn about the origin and history of Shaolin Zen and Shaolin Kungfu culture, and learn basic Shaolin Kungfu salutes, standing and horse stances.
Evening: Introductory sitting meditation training, breathing adjustment methods and basic meditation norms; initial contact with Shaolin calligraphy culture and basic brush holding practice.
Day 2 Foundation Building – Basic Fist Technique Training
Morning: Physical fitness foundational training, including stretching, horse stance, bow stance and empty stance to lay a solid foundation for Shaolin Kungfu practice.
Afternoon: Systematic learning of basic moves of Minor Hong Fist, decomposing individual movements, correcting postures, and mastering the force logic and routine framework of Minor Hong Fist.
Evening: Sitting meditation to relieve training fatigue and consolidate fist technique memories; basic TCM course covering Shaolin Kungfu health preservation common sense and simple relief methods for sports strain.
Day 3 Fist Technique Improvement – Initial Staff Training
Morning: Intensive practice of complete Minor Hong Fist routines, correcting movement flaws to improve accuracy and proficiency.
Afternoon: Introductory learning of Shaolin Staff, understanding staff characteristics, mastering basic movements including staff holding, lifting, chopping and sweeping.
Evening: Zen breathing adjustment, summarizing difficulties in fist and staff training for targeted improvement; calligraphy training focusing on basic strokes and experiencing the charm of Shaolin Zen calligraphy.
Day 4 Basic Skill Practice – Special Water Lifting Skill Training
Morning: Consolidate full Minor Hong Fist routines and connect basic Shaolin staff movements to form a fundamental skill system.
Afternoon: Special training of Water Lifting Skill, mastering the force skills of traditional Shaolin exercises to strengthen arm strength, core endurance and physical coordination, and understand the essence of traditional Shaolin Kungfu physical cultivation.
Evening: In-depth sitting meditation and breathing adjustment to relieve muscle soreness and develop good Shaolin Kungfu breathing habits; TCM health preservation course covering Shaolin Kungfu breathing regulation and muscle relaxation methods.
Day 5 Natural Culture Study – Shaolin Kungfu Culture Exploration in Sanhuangzhai

Afternoon: Immersive visit to Songshan Sanhuangzhai, including plank roads and strange stone canyons, learning the symbiotic culture of Songshan landforms and Shaolin Kungfu, and perceiving the natural artistic conception of Shaolin martial artists’ practice.
Evening: Advanced calligraphy practice copying simple Zen-martial calligraphy characters; free sharing of study experience and relaxation.
Day 6 Hard Qigong Introduction – Basic Stick Breaking Training
Morning: Intensive physical training combining stances, staff and fist techniques to improve physical explosive power and stability.
Afternoon: Zero-based teaching of Hard Qigong Stick Breaking, explaining force generation principles, breath control and safety protection guidelines, and conducting standardized basic practical training with risk avoidance measures.

Day 8 Palm Technique Special Training – Basic Iron Sand Palm Practice
Morning: Advanced staff training focusing on combined Shaolin staff moves to improve routine fluency, momentum and basic offensive and defensive capabilities.
Afternoon: Zero-based teaching of Iron Sand Palm, explaining palm force generation, palm hardening and breath coordination skills, carrying out standardized scientific training in a gradual manner.
Evening: Targeted breathing meditation to nourish palms and meridians and master post-training breathing maintenance methods; practical TCM course on palm and arm massage and relaxation techniques after Shaolin Kungfu training.
Day 9 Practical Combat Introduction – Basic Sanda Training

Day 10 Natural Scenery Study – Cultural Exploration of Fuxi Mountain
Morning: Connect and practice basic Sanda movements, and conduct comprehensive training of fist, palm and staff techniques to enhance overall Shaolin Kungfu literacy.
Afternoon: Visit Fuxi Mountain to explore the Fuxi cultural context of Songshan, appreciate natural landscape features, understand the integration of Central Plains traditional culture and Shaolin Kungfu, and adjust physical and mental state through work-rest balance.
Evening: Summary TCM health preservation course sorting out all Shaolin Kungfu health preservation knowledge learned; free rest and experience sharing of Shaolin Kungfu, calligraphy and TCM learning.
Day 11 Ancient Temple Study – Zen-Kungfu Origin Exploration at Fawang Temple
Morning: Advanced training of Hard Qigong Stick Breaking to master standard force movements stably and proficiently.
Afternoon: Visit Fawang Temple (the oldest ancient temple in Songshan), learn about Central Plains Buddhist culture and ancient temple history, and deeply interpret the inheritance context of Songshan Zen and Kungfu culture.

Day 13 Songshan Overall Study Tour & Graduation Rehearsal
Morning: Ascend the main peak of Songshan Mountain, overlook the panoramic view of Songshan, feel the grand momentum of the birthplace of Shaolin Kungfu, and deeply perceive the integration of Songshan landscape and Zen-martial culture.
Afternoon: Group arrangement of graduation report performances, integrating fist techniques, staff techniques, hard qigong, Sanda and traditional skills for full rehearsal.
Evening: Full team rehearsal to optimize performance process and movement connection; sort out learning experience and works of Kungfu, calligraphy and TCM courses.
Day 14 Graduation Performance & Closing and Departure
Morning: Official graduation report performance. Participants demonstrate all 14-day Shaolin Kungfu and traditional skill achievements, as well as calligraphy works and TCM health preservation learning outcomes. Instructors provide comments and summary, and issue study tour completion certificates.
Afternoon: Closing forum for Sino-Russian teachers and students to exchange learning gains, present souvenirs, take group photos, sort out luggage and depart successfully.
